Munro's Travel Group was established as a private company in 1903 and has remained a Partnership with the Partners actively involved in the daily operations of the firm. We operate three Specialist Divisions: Business Travel, Groups and Conference and Corporate Leisure. We are one of the largest independent travel agents in the UK and to date we employ 60 staff. We are currently ranked 29th in the top 50 UK Travel Agents and we recognise that the continuous professional development of all our staff is key to deliver and maintain a high level of quality service to our clients. The structure of Investors in People accreditation (successfully achieved in March 2005) provides us with a tool for facilitating culural change to develop all aspects of our business to secure the future of our company and its employees.

Munro's Travel Group provide solutions to all travel requirements by offering a wide range of travel services including air, rail and ferry tickets together with ancillary services such as car hire, hotel reservations, passport and visa, insurance, traveller's cheques and foreign currency. Our alliance with American Express gives us access to the American Express fare system, their Worldwide hotel program and customer service centres throughout the world. This enables us to provide our clients with a number of cost saving solutions to meet their travel needs. We are at the forefront of technology utilising a broad range of IT products and the latest web tools. Our Global Distribution System provider, Galileo International, enables us to provide a complete technology solution to meet the needs of our clients.

We are fully licensed by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA), the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL) and the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC). The Company is also an active member of the Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC).
